Port Isabel’s Pachanga in the Park will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2021 and will be expanding to a two-day event. Scheduled for Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3, Pachanga in the Park will feature two evenings of live music headlined by Control de Lupe Degollado! There will be dozens of local food vendors and arts & crafts vendors and information booths. Gates open at 6 p.m. on Saturday (until 11p.m.) and Sunday night (until 10p.m.). General seating is available.
Lawn chairs are permitted. No outside food or drinks allowed. $1 admission to the event will be collected at the gate. You will be entered in a raffle. Prizes will be posted in the City of Port Isabel information booth and may be picked up before the event closes. PACHANGA in the PARK started in Washington Park in 2011 as an event to feature local food and music and fun and games. The event outgrew Washington Park and in 2017 moved to its present location at the Laguna Madre Park off Port Road in Port Isabel. Plenty of free parking is available. COVID-19 public safety protocol will apply.
