VILLA MADRE APARTMENTS FIRE VICTIM SUPPORT

Early in the afternoon, on Saturday, February 13th, a fire broke out in the Villa Madre apartments in Port Isabel. Six families have been displaced from their homes just as temperatures in the Laguna Madre area are plummeting to new lows we've not seen this winter season. Red Cross has relocated the six families to shelters in the area. One family has lost all the contents in their home.

The City of Port Isabel is asking, if you are able, to help during this very difficult and traumatizing time. You may make monetary donations at City Hall or by PayPal. 100% of the monies donated will go to help replace lost belongings.
